Our 'I to the Hills' window is beside the organ. A
beautiful window, one can see an artist's impression of the Cobbler
above the figure on the left and one of Ben Lomond above the figure
on the right. This window was in great need of restoration due to the
deterioration of the old lead. Now it is as good as new!
The wording on the left-hand panel is 'I will lift up
mine eyes unto the hills', and further down 'Non Crux solo Lux' under
which are the words 'Praise ye the Lord'. On the right-hand
panel are the words 'I am the Good Shepherd and know my Sheep' and
lower down 'Gloria in excelsis'.
The inscription at the foot of the window reads 'To
the Glory of God and in Memory of William George Black of Ardmay and
Anna Robertson Blackie Black his wife. Gifted 1933'.
Underneath is the name 'David Gauld RSA' and 'Guthrie
& Wells'.

'I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills' and 'I am
the Good Shepherd and I love my Sheep'
