The Friends Hope to promote interest in the Parish Church of Arrochar, its history and its work. to act as a focus for all who have a love of Arrochar Parish Church and wish to see it preserved for future generations. where appropriate and feasible to offer financial assistance towards the funding of special projects and to make gifts to the Church and to the Parish Church Community Trust to help them in their work of looking after the Church.
If you share these hopes -- wherever you live and irrespective of whether or not you are a member of the Church -- then please play your part by joining us. Friends will be sent copies of a regular magazine and will receive invitations to an annual gathering and lecture on the local history of our parish. Tell your friends about us and perhaps they too will become Friends of Arrochar Parish Church.
Membership Subscriptions Membership is for twelve months renewable on 1st. April each year. (Those joining now will be members through to 1st. April, 2007 for the one subscription.) Individual membership is £10. Family membership is £20. Payment of subscriptions by Banker's Order considerably lessens the clerical work and postal expenses in collecting annual subscriptions. If you wish to become a member of the Friends of Arrochar Parish Church you are invited to complete the on-line application form. Further information about the 'Friends' and a banker's standing order form will be sent to you by post. (You may, of course, send us a cheque instead of the completed standing order form).
