We think that our Chancel windows are not only
extremely beautiful but also that they express just the message that
we would wish to be reminded of each time we gather in Church to
worship: "Why seek ye the living among the dead" and
"He is not here but is risen".
 
Why seek ye the living among the dead? He is not
here but is risen.
Both of these windows have the same inscription at the
foot of each window: 'In loving memory of the Rev'd. James Dewar
Minister of this Parish from the year 1869 to 1901.
Below the left-hand window is the name Stephen Adam
& Son, Glasgow.
