This is a beautiful window just on
the left as one enters the Church. Of all the windows in the Church
it is the one which was most badly damaged. Now it has been
beautifully and lovingly restored.
On the left panel are the words
'This is my beloved Son' and on the right, 'Hosanna in the highest.'
At the foot of the window the left panel has the inscription: 'John
Forrest Ross - Died 4th. January, 1933. Erected by his sisters.'
The right hand inscription was
totally destroyed and no-one knew what it had said. Thus, at the time
of the restoration the words 'This window was restored as part of the
Church refurbishment 1999 - 2001' were added.
John Ross was of Ross Hotel, which
is now the Loch Long Hotel.
